Private 1 hour Adult Lesson (Adults 19-90 yrs): $60
Private 1 hour Junior/High School Lesson (Junior/High School 11-18 yrs): $54
Private 1 hour 10&under Lesson (10&under 5-10yrs): $45
Group Lessons: 2 players - 1/2 the above rates, 3 players - 1/3 the above rates, 4 to 5 players $10 each.
Racquet stringing and grip replacement services available.
A free 1/2- hour lesson can be scheduled with Tom for adult beginners, returning to Tennis or new to MCC
Minocqua Country Club is proud to welcome Tom as our new Tennis Professional. On top of Tom being an MCC member, he is also a 22 year certified
teaching member of the USPTA and has achieved the national level 4 Professional development award for 10 continuous years of professional
commitment and achievement. He is certified as an USTA NTRP Verifier and a 10U "Quickstart"/ Youth Team Tennis specialist He is a
22-year member of the United States Racquet Stringers Association USRSA and a member of the Professional Advisory Staff of Head/Penn Racquet
During the indoor season, Tom is a staff professional at The Racket Club in Crystal Lake, Illinois and the tennis professional for the Judson
University Division of Exercise Science and Sport, Elgin, Illinois where he also holds the prestigious position of Senior University Lecturer.
He has served as the head Professional for the Tall Oaks Tennis Club, Dell Webb Sun City Huntley, Illinois, and staff professional for
the Marriot Horseshoe Bay Resort, Horseshoe Bay, Texas.
The singular vision of the 2017 tennis program is to provide MCC members, their families, and guests with outstanding recreational tennis
experiences. “Games Based” instruction will be used for all players from 5 years of age up to seniors. Our goals are to enhance tennis
skills, self-confidence, court safety, socialization opportunities and fun for our membership.
Lessons are offered by appointment every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 26th to late August. Lessons are offered for 10 and under
(5-6, 7-8, 8-10 years), 10 to 12 years, high schoolers and adults of all ages in private and group formats. Age and skill appropriate
nets, balls, and racquets will be used to encourage more rapid development of ball control, placement, and extended play. Video equipment
will be used to analyze strokes, preparation, and footwork. On the court, lessons will be supplemented by emailing players world class
instructional videos. Scheduling is very flexible and tailored to club member's needs, so please contact Tom Jaeger USPTA our tennis
